| By Bus or TrainThere are a variety of intercity bus and train services that go to Philadelphia. These are ones that Penn students have used and found satisfactory. Workshop participants are by no means limited to these companies or transportation centers.*The campus can be reached from 30th Street Station by cab(about $7.00), on SEPTA's Green Line (to either 36th and Sansom Streets or 37th and Spruce Streets) or the Market-Frankford Line (to 34th and Market Streets), or by foot; 30th Street Station is a fifteen-minute walk from the heart of campus. SEPTA fare is $2.00. By Plane (from Philadelphia International Airport)The Philadelphia International Airport, located in the Southwest section of the city, is approximately 20 minutes from Penn.SEPTA’s Regional Rail Airport Line to PennThis train runs between 5am and 12 midnight. Train fare is $7.00 at all times. The airport line leaves from each airport terminal and stops at University City Station and 30th Street Station. The trip generally takes 25 minutes. From University City Station, it is about a five minute walk west on Spruce St. to Penn’s campus. From 30th Street Station, it is about a fifteen minute walk to Penn’s campus (west on Market St. and a left at 34th St.). A taxi from 30th Street Station to Penn is about $7.00.
