The following State Representative positions are open for 2010:
Northern New England: Maine/New Hampshire/Vermont
Massachusetts
Southern New England: Connecticut/Rhode Island
New York
New Jersey/Delaware
Pennsylvania

Explanation of the position
The State Representative is an appointed coordination role designed to act in support of their member chapters to help facilitate communication between groups, the Region, and the EWB-USA national office.  While responsibilities and time commitments vary depending on the member chapters and their level of activity, this role is generally time intensive and is best served by a volunteer who is fully committed to the role.

While project and professional experience are important in qualifying for State Representative, a candidate that is willing and enthusiastic about their responsibilities will best serve their member chapters.  For that reason, this position is open to professionals and students.

SR positions will be filled by appointment from the Northeast Region Co-Presidents, however member chapter support will be essential in making that determination.  While this is not an election, we are asking member chapters to follow similar time frame as for elections.
